Mandarin vocabulary listening practice
Word Slice is a free Mandarin vocabulary game. Listen to a word, then swipe or drag through the matching picture. Each challenge uses six words from the starter vocabulary below. Meet the words before playing, then try a 60-second round against a bot or in Solo mode.
Build from words to descriptions
- Words: match the Mandarin name to an everyday object.
- Descriptions: listen for black, white, big, or small to choose the right version of an object.
- Clues: start with Chinese characters and pinyin, then switch to audio alone when you feel ready. Review missed words after a round.
